The holiday campsite is only a short drive from the market town of Keswick with the Derwentwater Lake near to the town centre.
The Bassenthwaite Lake is only a few miles away from the campsite.
Wyndham Hall Caravan Park is a small holiday campsite on the outskirts of Cockermouth in Cumbria in the Lake District.  All the units are for holiday use only.  March - October.
The small market town of Cockermouth is within short walking distance.
Cockermouth has many shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, chip shops, a library, garage, petrol station, and it has Wordsworth House, the birthplace of William Wordsworth.  There is a Leisure Centre a short walk away with a swimming pool, gymnasium, and many childrens activities such as Children's Dance, Aqua Fit, Boxercise, Badminton, Climbing and Gymnastics.
CAMPING AREA.  The campsite welcomes tourers, motorhomes and tents in the summer months.
The kitchen and lounge are an open plan style with a flat screen television and gas fire in the lounge area and a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, gas stove, oven and grill.

Embleton village, a one mile drive away, has a pub, a Golf course and an outside children's play area.
Each lodge has a small verandah and is double glazed with gas central heating.
The lounge opens out on to a small verandah at the front and the side.
Local attractions include Trotters Farm with many animals, just a few miles away.
The private holiday makers bar on site is rented out each summer season and opening hours depend on the tenant.

The red squirrels can be seen in the trees when they visit for nuts.
Driving over the nearby Whinlatter Pass and Honister Pass you will find sheep strolling freely around the mountain area.
The Derwentwater at Keswick where you can hire Motor boats, Rowing boats, Canoes and Sailing boats. 
You can enjoy many pleasant walks.
There are some beautiful views on some of the drives you can take.
The Derwentwater, just 12 miles drive from the park, almost 5 kilometres long and 1.6 kilometres at its widest point, and 22 metres deep at its deepest point.
Only about a 12 mile drive to the beaches of Allonby.
